Trust and Estates Controversy
Our Trust and Estates Controversy Practice Group represents both fiduciaries and beneficiaries involved in complex trust, estate, guardianship and tax disputes in administrative hearing, trial and appellate levels. Our client representations include will and trust contests, will and trust construction, reformation suits, tax audits and appeals tax and other fiduciary litigation matters.
While we have extensive experience in dispute resolution for beneficiaries, trustees and executors through the use of litigation, we frequently counsel clients to use negotiated settlements in lieu of litigation. As part of our commitment to anticipate legal problems rather than react to them, our practice group includes wealth preservation lawyers, family law lawyers, tax lawyers and trial lawyers who regularly confer on litigation prevention techniques for our trust and estate clients.
The Trust and Estates group understands that each client and each estate plan is unique. We understand the sensitive dynamics of family, financial and business decisions, and the special issues facing those whose personal and professional lives are closely related. Our attorneys are results-oriented and are committed to providing legal services that are personal, practical, and efficient, and remain well-versed in emerging legal trends.
